My Approach

Slater Therapeutic Services, is a solo practice composed of a masters level clinician offering virtual individual counseling and clinical supervision.

I understand that individuals are more than just a collection of symptoms or challenges. My approach to treatment is holistic; integrating one’s mental, emotional, physical and social wellbeing. My primary theoretical approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I also enjoy utilizing Solution Focused Therapy, Psychotherapy and Coaching. I understand that no two clients are the same, and therefore, there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Our treatment plan is specifically designed for the individual and catered to meet your needs. I will work closely with you to create a personalized treatment plan that address your specific needs and goals.

Meet Amanda

I am Amanda Slater; owner and clinical director of Slater Therapeutic Services and host of Lets Talk Therapy Podcast.

My goal is to reach the person who feels therapy could be beneficial but has not made it a priority because although they are not doing their best, they are not doing their worst either. Often times the person holding things together most, goes unnoticed because they are viewed as the “strong friend” .
